Mariage d'un chat tabby et d'un chat uni

 

 

Deux cas possibles :

• Le tabby est homozygote, c'est à dire qu'il possède 2 allèles "A".
  Cela n'est possible que si ses 2 parents sont tabby.
• Le tabby est hétérozygote, c'est à dire qu'un de ses parents lui a transmis l'allèle "a" (non tabby).
  C'est obligatoirement le cas si son père ou sa mère était uni. C'est également possible chez certains chats issus de mariages tabby x tabby.
  • L'uni est forcement homozygote

 

Le tabby (agouti) est hétérozygote

Tabby porteur d'uni => Génotype : "Aa", gamètes produites : "A" et "a"

Uni obligatoirement homozygote => Génotype : "aa", gamètes produites : "a" uniquement

50% des chatons sont tabby, porteurs d'uni.
50% des chatons sont unis (non tabby).

 

Remarque :

Si on parle de chats colourpoint, le résultat est bien entendu le même.
